MenuNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT: –
1. An Election is to be held of a Parish Councillor for the above named Parish.
2. Nomination papers may be obtained from the Elections Office, at the address below, where at the request of any elector for the Parish, a nomination paper will be prepared for signature.
3. Nomination papers must be delivered to the Elections Office of Northumberland County Council at the address shown below during normal working hours on any day after the date of this notice, but not later than Noon on 29th December 2011
4. If the Election is contested, the poll will take place on Thursday 26th January 2012 between the hours of 7.00am and 10.00pm.
5. Electors should take note that new applications to vote by post and requests to amend, cancel or redirect existing postal and proxy arrangements must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the address shown below by not later than 5.00pm on 11th January 2012 if they are to be effective for this election.
6. New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the address shown below, by not later than 5.00pm on 18th January 2012
7. Applications to vote by proxy at this election on the grounds of physical incapacity, where the physical incapacity occurred after 5.00pm on 18th January 2012, must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at the address shown below by not later than 5.00pm on 26th January 2012, accompanied by appropriate medical certification.
