MenuA new Memorial to all Seafarers has been erected within the Memorial Gardens.
A thought from Ken Henderson led to discussions and more detailed plans which needed to be processed through NCC Planning and Conservation. The implementation had been severely delayed by the Covid pandemic but thanks to the generosity and involvement of many local people and businesses, either financially or physically, the memorial was finally brought to a reality this week.
The Seafarers Memorial will be completely finished by Remembrance Sunday and will be blessed during the service.
