Town Police Clauses Act 1847, section 21
AMBLE REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE
Notice is hereby given that Northumberland County Council in exercise of it powers under section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 has made the following order:
That on Sunday 8th November 2015 between the hours of 11.15am and 12 midday no vehicular traffic, with the exception of either vehicles of the emergency services or such vehicles as may be authorised by the Council shall be permitted to use the streets listed in Schedule 1.
Schedule 1 – the streets closed
- Queen Street from the junction with Coquet Street to the junction with Wellwood Street
- Wellwood Street from the junction with High Street to the junction with Bede Street
- All streets radiating from Queen Street need to have access to it prevented.
WARNING: a wilful breach of the Order is an offence and every person committing any such offence shall be liable to a penalty not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale (currently £1000)
