Paddlers Park

51 people voted for their choice from 4 names and the winner was Paddlers Park by  45 votes.  It is hoped the name will be incorporated in a welcome sign being produced by H.M.P. Northumberland as part of a community partnership. This will be placed at the Gordon Villas’ entrance near a floral display set in a truck symbolising those used to carry stone from the quarry which was originally at this site. The anticipated completion date is the end of August and provided that happens, there will be an opening event on Saturday 29th from 2pm- 4.30pm  This will be a family occasion for all to see and use the new features and participate in some family fun, activities, games and refreshments.
