- Double yellow lines:
Junction of High Street to Albert Street
Junction of Albert Street to Bede Street
Junction Acklington Road to South Avenue
All junctions at the roundabout – Dilston Terrace/Percy Street/Percy Drive
Junction of Ladbroke Street to Marine Road
Junction of Marine Road to Ivy Street
Junction of Percy Street/Newbrough Street to Leslie Drive
Junction Church Street to Middleton Street
Staggered yellow lines on Leazes Street to have a chichane effect
- Monday to Saturday restrictions on church side of Church Street
It was suggested that Paul investigate a one way system from Coquet Street as a possible proposal, it was thought that this was included in a traffic strategy report compiled by Alnwick District Council in approx. 2007.
Cllr Arckless informed of a letter sent to NCC from Coquet Churches Together that had not yet been replied to. The Clerk would forward a copy to Paul.
Paul would also investigate
It was suggested that Paul’s findings be reported back to the Town Council and also discussed at the next meeting of Amble 2020.
The meeting closed at 4.00pm
