MenuNomination packs are now available in the Town Council Office for collection.
The Parish Council elections take place on Thursday 2nd May 2013. The nomination packs contain comprehensive guidance for candidates prepared by the Electoral Commission, this should be read carefully.
Nominations open on Monday 25th March and four centres have been set up to receive nomination papers. They are:
Alnwick – Allerburn House, Alnwick NE66 1TN
Berwick – Council Offices, Wallace Green, Berwick Upon Tweed TD15 1ED
Hexham – Hadrian House, Market Street, Hexham NE46 3NH
Morpeth – The Election Office, County Hall, Morpeth NE61 2EF
Nominations will be received between 9.00 am and 4.00 pm
Papers should be delivered by hand to the Returning Officer’s Staff. As they expect to process approx. 1500 nomination papers during a ten day period, an appontment system has been created. Appointments MUST be made by telephoning the elections office on 01670 624811
Nominations must be submitted no later than noon on Friday 5th April 2013.
