Town
Seat bars are to be installed in a number of bus shelters within the town, however there will be no seat bars installed within the bus shelters on High Street and Church Street as the area is too narrow at these locations.
All tree works within the West Cemetery and Memorial Gardens will be completed by 28th of February.
Cemeteries
A finalised list of remaining memorials to be laid down is in process. Deed holders are reminded that they are responsible to ensure memorials are maintained. Failure to update contact details and to carry out repair requests will result in Council taking any necessary measures that are required to ensure safety for everyone.
Kerb works will begin in the near future, Council will keep residents informed once further information is available.
A reminder that the water is turned off until April
Allotments
Council has arranged a contractor to repair the damaged allotment boundary fencing.
AAHS are continuing to monitor government guidelines regarding the Avian Bird Flu.
AAHS will be putting up notices requesting drivers to not park opposite the junction with Brinkburn Place.
