Planning Consultation 23/04183/FUL Land South Of The Gut Riverside Park Amble Northumberland

Amble Town Council’s Planning Committee met to consider Northumberland Estates’ application regarding a ‘Living Neighbourhood’ development. The meeting, which was well attended by members of the public, unanimously agreed to recommend refusal of the application with several detailed objections raised in their response. They concurred with the views of many in the town that whilst smaller residences were needed, this plan was unsuitable due to being on a flood plain and also the potential problems the extra vehicles would create at the junction with the A1068.
