Women’s Workshops

Monday, 17th April 2023

10.30am – 3.00pm Warm Space  the kettle is on at the Women’s Workshop on Mondays.  Pop along for a hot drink and friendly chat, or take part in an activity.

 

Wednesday, 19th April 2023

 

10.00am-12.30pm Making a Herb Planter come along to the Workshop and create a wooden herb planter with Helen Hill and add a selection of herbs to take home. Places are limited, so book your place by emailing angela@womensworkshop.net.

 

1.00pm-3.00pm Bio-Diversity in the Garden this week Anna Corbett will be discussing how to increase bio-diversity in the garden and companion planting and we will be sowing flower seeds for pollinators such as bees, butterflies and other useful insects. Come along and join in.

10.30am – 12.00 noon Women’s Workshop @Shilbottle A weekly group for women living in or near Shilbottle, taking place at Shilbottle Community Hall. Crafts, refreshments, visiting facilitators, and the chance to make contact with other local women and help plan your own programme.  You’re welcome to just turn up and see what it has to offer or contact angela@womensworkshop.net to find out more.

Community Health Champions Free Training

 

Aimme, a Health Improvement Practitioner for the Integrated Wellbeing Service at Northumberland County Council, has re-developed Northumberland’s Community Health Champions Programme – this is an opportunity for anyone living or working in Northumberland to be upskilled in having healthy conversations, share health messages, and raise awareness of health campaigns in their local community. The training is completely free of charge. There is a flyer attached with more information.

5.00-6.30pm Young Women’s Group at Mind and Sole in Alnwick at Mind and Sole. A fortnightly autism / learning difference focussed group support session for young women. Crafts, trips, information and loads of support. To take part or for more info contact Julia – info@womensworkshop.net
