Coming Up with The Women’s Workshop
Monday, 9th January 2023
10.30am – 3.00pm Warm Space If you are feeling the chill this winter, the kettle is on at the Women’s Workshop on Monday’s. Pop along for a hot drink and friendly chat, or take part in an activity.
Wednesday, 11th January 2023
12.30 – 3.00pm Bring Yer Boots and a pair of warm gloves. There’s a lot to do in the garden and this week we will be pruning the willow trees to make a garden arbour, followed by a hot drink and a slice of cake. Pop along and join in.
Thursday, 12th January 2023
10.30am – 12.00pm Women’s Workshop @ Shilbottle A weekly group for women living in or near Shilbottle, taking place at Shilbottle Community Hall. Crafts, refreshments, visiting facilitators, and the chance to make contact with other local women and help plan your own programme. You’re welcome to just turn up and see what it has to offer.
5.00-6.30pm NEW Young Women’s Group at Mind and Sole in Alnwick jointly supported by Women’s Workshop and Mind and Sole. A fortnightly autism / learning difference focussed group support session for young women. Crafts, trips, information and loads of support. Wednesday, 18th January 2023
11.00am -12.30pm Straw Bale – Eco Community Hub build Open Event. The Women’s Workshop are planning to build a small eco-building for 1-1 mentoring, or small meetings. The build will be made of straw and built by local women with the help of Eileen Sutherland. Come along, find out more, how to join in and learn something new. Flyer attached.

2.00-4.00pm Women’s Workshop @Warkworth a fortnightly group with refreshments, crafts, visiting facilitators and the chance to make contact with other local women and help plan your own programme. Let us know if you would like to attend. Venue to be confirmed.
Wednesday, 25th January 2023
1.00 – 3.00pm – Trees in Winter – The first of 3 monthly walks in the environment with Anna Corbett. This month we will be learning how to identify trees in the winter and at the same time spotting local wildlife. Wrap up well, there will be a visit to a café for a hot drink and cake at the end of each walk. Transport will be arranged. Venue to be confirmed.
