Women’s Rights are Human Rights event Monday 5th December 11am

11am – 1.30pm, Cramlington Hub – Women’s Rights are Human Rights event.  NWN (Northumberland Women’s Network) will be running a special event at the Cramlington Hub, to mark the end of the sixteen days of activism against violence against women and girls, and to celebrate both International Day of Persons with Disabilities and Human Rights Day from a women’s perspective. There will be workshops on supporting neurodivergent women, a fairer future for women, and building on the Safer Parks project to work towards safer public spaces for women. Our Safe Parks project installation will be on display the Hub from 2th November to mark the sixteen days. We are delighted to be joined by the Police and Crime Commissioner Kim McGuiness. We’ll also be launching the NWN activism group.
