| Amble Neighbourhood Policing Team are passionate about the community we serve and we endeavour to address community issues raised by local residents. PC 3835 Richardson and PCSO 4089 Fawcett work from the local Police office at Four Ways Two, within Amble Town Centre.
Officers work closely with partner agencies to tackle crime and disorder in the Amble area. The team work closely with the Town Council, Northumberland County Council and the local schools to deter and reduce crime and ASB.
We feel it is important to provide feedback to the local community and highlight the positive results officers have achieved to reduce crime and disorder in the Amble and Hauxley area.
As such officers from the Amble Neighbourhood Policing Team issued ASB letters and visited youths involved in ASB with their parents present. Officers make referrals to support agencies to deter re-offending and also work closely with youth services such as YOLO and the Amble youth project to divert offenders.
Officers conducted a number joint visits in conjunction with the council to issue warnings in regard to ASB and motor cycle disorder. Occupants were issued warnings in relation to their tenancy agreements and warned repeat offending could lead to enforcement proceedings.
Officers have continued to issues section 59 notices in regard to off road vehicles and the manner of driving within the town. Should those offenders be caught by the police on a second occasion they will have their vehicle uplifted by the Police.
Officers have also been working with the Amble youth project and assisted to secure funding for a renovation of the youth club to try and encourage more youths using the facility and divert them from being involved in ASB on the street.
The Officers will continue to patrol and prevent crime and ASB in the future and there will be further updates in due course in relation to the results officers achieve.
If you wish to report an incident to the Police call 101 or via online via web submission/online chat, however in an emergency always dial 999.
