Christmas Gifts

The Covid pandemic has meant this has been a very different year for many with regulations meaning some reduction in social contact and personal interaction with loved ones. Amble Town Council decided to bring a little cheer to some of the youngest and oldest in the community. Staff from Amble’s First schools decided the children would benefit from key stage related colouring books, whilst staff at both JCSC sites thought books which could be accessed by all would help with their student’s literacy. Dolphin View Care Home recently acquired a DVD player and were delighted with the gift of a variety of types of DVDs including some Christmas movies. It is hoped this small gesture will help relieve some of the stress and difficulties in recent months.
