MenuWATBike, the cycling charity based near Ponteland, are putting out an urgent plea for bike donations.
They particularly need hybrid or mountain style bikes, which will be refurbished and sold on at reasonable prices for key workers and other people needing a bike for transport to work.
If you are able to drop off any bikes you have, the address is WATBike at Thorneyford Farm, Kirkley, Ponteland, NE20 0AJ (on the same site as Kirkley Café). However, if you aren’t able to do that, collection can be arranged if necessary – please call Claire Blake on 01661 825599.
