At the July meeting of Amble Town Council, the Members decided to grant a donation of £224 to Amble Rangers (Girl Guiding UK Senior Section) following the receipt of a grant application.
The donation will contribute towards the Rangers first residential trip as a Unit to London to attend the National Girl Guiding Big Gig and also take part in a welcoming ceremony at the International Guiding Headquarters for the UK. The trip will be part of the Rangers Commonwealth Award.
