MenuYesterday Elaine Brown, our Town Clerk, spoke to Mark Thomas, Tesco’s Regional Corporate Affairs Manager for the North. Elaine asked Mark for an update on the Amble site. Mark confirmed that rubble had been removed from the site last week and at present Tesco are looking into the costs and time scales for demolition of the derelict buildings.
Mark informed that it is hoped that the plans for the revised application will go out for consultation in early April.
