Amble Puffin Festival 26th May – 1st June 2014

Following the success of the first Amble Puffin Festival, it has been agreed by partners to hold the festival again in 2014.

Amble Puffin Festival 2013 saw the coming together of the community, via individuals and groups, and a real feel of community spirit during the two week event.  However following feedback and views of Amble Action Group it was agreed to shorten the event for 2014 to the above dates.

The festival takes place at a time when the world famous puffins and artic terns are nesting on Coquet Island and we plan with your help to hold lots or events an activities around to town to celebrate .

I hope you will consider being involved again this year and I therefore invite you or a representative of your organisation to attend a meeting to discuss the event on Monday 27^th January at 5.00pm in Fourways 2, Dilston Terrace, Amble NE65 0DT – Please bring with you ideas of how you would like to be involved.

Due to administrative efficiencies Amble Action Group has been dissolved back into its’ founding organisation, Amble Town Council, but all at the Council are very keen to keep up the partnership working that was forged during the previous event.
