MenuRobert Arckless, of the Labour Party, has retained his seat for Amble after a 22.2% turnout at the polls at yesterdays local elections.
Jeff Watson, a Conservative Party member, has also retained his seat for Amble West with Warkworth. There was a 45.5% turnout at the polls. There were 4 recounts at Willowburn Leisure Centre for Amble West with Warkworth and it was announced that there was only 1 vote in it, putting Jeff in the lead of Liberal Democrat Julie Porksen.
