Donation for Cadets

Mayor Ian Hinson presented Amble Army Cadet Force with a donation of £300.00 on 30th July 2012  at the Drill Hall on Scott Street, Amble.

The donation will be used to subsidise the cost of Annual Camp for the cadets.  Annual Camp is an opportunity for the cadets to carry out a large amount of training and gain the majority of subject passes through an adventure training course.

The Mayor said “It was nice to be able to give something back to the cadets, every year they do voluntary work within our community, they also lead the parade from the Town Square to the church on Armistice Day”
