MenuOn Friday 6th July the Amble & Warkworth Good Citizen Awards took place.
This is the third year of the Good Citizen Awards which was set up by PCSO Darin Fawcett to award young people for outstanding behavior and attitudes, the trophies being donated by Amble Town Council.
Deputy Mayor Craig Weir was in attendance to present the trophies.
Catherine Dunn was nominated by Warkworth First School, Erin Douglas was nominated by Amble County First School, Jayce Marshall by St Cuthbert’s First School and Ella Henderson by Amble Links First School. All four nominees were presented with a trophy from Amble Town Council and a bag containing prizes donated by local businesses. The bike which was won by Ella Henderson was donated by Katie and Nick Spurr of Spurreli.
