The Remembrance Service will take place in Amble Town Square, wreaths will be laid on the Amble War Memorial and the Radcliffe War Memorial on Sunday 13th November 2011 followed by a service in St. Mark’s United Reformed Church on Wellwood Street.
All participants of the event are required to assemble in the Town Square at 10.45am.
Queen Street (from Co-op at the top to Lawrence’s at the bottom) along with Cross Street and North Street will be closed from 10.30am – 11.30am, to allow the parade of participants to proceed to the church on Wellwood Street.
Maroon Flash Rockets will be set off on the Braid at 11.00am and 11.02am to mark the beginning and the end of the two minutes silence, loud bangs will be heard throughout the Town.
