V J Day 75th Anniversary

Although official ceremonies could not take place due to Covid 19 regulations, tributes were laid at both memorials in the Memorial Gardens to commemorate those who lost their lives in the Far East and to give thanks for those who returned to their loved ones.

Whilst social distancing was observed, there were a number of people present  who respected the two minute’s silence and stood quietly to see the individuals laying the tributes.
